These two prints, "The Sea King and the Magic Jewels I" and "The Sea King and the Magic Jewels II," were originally created for the 1910 book "Green Willow and Other Japanese Fairy Tales." This set was produced by Recollections, England, as part of a high-quality limited first edition run. The prints capture the magic and ethereal beauty of Japanese folklore, a subject for which Goble was renowned.

The item is in very good vintage condition overall, although the matting has some light marks and a small area of discolouration/foxing in the bottom right corner, as is common with older mounts.
